  12. I'm amazed at the number of people who've confessed to having
  13. experienced broach situations.  I thought this was less common
  14. than it apparently is.  It is an extremely dangerous situation!
  15. About two years ago an experienced kayaker became broached in
  16. a class II- rapid on the South Fork American.  His friends were
  17. finally able to extricate him and administer CPR, but not before
  18. he had sustained major brain damage.  Wouldn't a keyhole cockpit
  19. help in these situations?

  22. for the manufacturer of the Thrillseeker?  They never advertise,
  23. and I seem to have misplaced a copy of their brochure.
