- I'm amazed at the number of people who've confessed to having
- experienced broach situations. I thought this was less common
- than it apparently is. It is an extremely dangerous situation!
- About two years ago an experienced kayaker became broached in
- a class II- rapid on the South Fork American. His friends were
- finally able to extricate him and administer CPR, but not before
- he had sustained major brain damage. Wouldn't a keyhole cockpit
- help in these situations?
-
- Also, could somebody back east please send me the phone number
- for the manufacturer of the Thrillseeker? They never advertise,
- and I seem to have misplaced a copy of their brochure.
