- I don't about this engine, but it seems that several manufacturers are
- producing their alternators now with a dissipative grounding diode that
- fires if the battery becomes disconnected, thus saving the alternator
- rectifiers. This diode is offered in most of the stores in my area as
- well as some mail order houses for $7 to $15. Strongly recommended.
