  12. I have just gotten around to do something about the electrics on
  13. FELIX, my Freedom 21, and the first thing I have done was to make
  14. a lead from the Honda 8HP reghulated output to the batteries. Ever
  15. the cautious one, I checked out the Honda's voltagwe output with
  16. my brand new Fluke digital meter (great device. the Model 10.)
  17. and was surprised to see it register anywhere from -0.2 to -0.5 volts.
  18. My first cry was one of anguish, but it occurs to me that a regulated
  19. charger output might show very anomalous readings on essentially
  20. open circuit. Any ideas?

  22. PS. In light airs I'm having fun beating up on an Erickson 23 but
  23. not too much luck wiping out the local J24's -- unless they're sailed
  24. rather poorly. I think I'll get that staysail I've been thinking about,
  25. and roll it up on a Harken furler.
