- I just spoke to a friend who spoke to his friend who works in the north. They
- have to worry about polar bears. They usually carry shot guns loaded with
- slugs but because of environmental concerns, they started using those bear
- repelants. He said they will "drop a bear in two meters". I know they aren't
- meant to "drop" a bear. It was probably just his colorful expression.
