- My husband and I are planning to backpack in Big Bend for 10 days during
- December. I've called the rangers and they informed me that there is no
- water and the only way to backpack for that length of time is to stash
- water on the trail ahead of time. However, several years ago I was at Big
- Bend and there were plenty of tijana's (water holes) to get water from.
- Since I've had bad information from rangers in other pts of the country,
- I'm not tt sure howliable her information was.
-
- Does anyone know the current water condition in Big Bend?
-
- I.K.
