- Not to sound a bit pretentious but before deciding to become a guide I
- would suggest you take some time to learn about who runs our parks and
- wilderness. In general the Forest Service does not run parks, they
- run National Forests, the National Parks Service runs national
- parks or state agencies run state parks, etc. etc. After seeing two
- posts on this I would have to wonder about a person's qualifications if
- they have to ask on the net about being a guide.
