- {looking for restaurants in Boston Area}
-
- Here are my favorites, in no particular order:
-
- Tanner-Hiller, just east of the Quabbin Reservoir. On-field dining,
- low on atmosphere, high on food quality. Small selection of gourmet-ish
- food (read the blackboard for the nightly specials). Call ahead (see
- your Airport directory) for hours.
-
- Nantucket, Saratoga Steaks. Its about a 10 minute hoof, but a decent
- steak house.. maybe one notch higher than a 99 Restaurant.
-
- The Barnstormer, at Stow Minuteman (near Hanscom field). Recently opened
- for dinner... I think this is one night per week, so call ahead.
- Great place! (I'm based there, so I'm biased...).
-
- Hyannis has a number of restuarants just off the field.
-
- There is a Tavern-style burger place, I forget the name, at Fall River.
-
- You can go 'to Mac[donald's]' at 'Tew-Mac' airport (stuff for the kiddies
- nearby).
-
- And the usual smattering of on-airport lunch/brunch places at many other
- airports.
