- I was just thinking, commercial jets are big and heavy, and they carry
- a hell of a lot of fuel... right? Well at 6ppg, it adds up... and
- for the most part, you are burning fuel to carry fuel right?
-
- When/where would it make sence for air lines to have in flight refueling?
- I know that it would cost a lot to have a tanker up there giving 747s JET-A,
- but if they could serve enough jets in an hour, it may actually be sensible...
- well...maybe. I know there is prob. someone who figured this out on paper,
- and I'm sure it would be non sensible (otherwise, they'd be doing it)...but
- if anyone has any 'work' on this, I'd like to see this...
-
- Thanks...
