- Summary: CAP Uniforms
- Keywords: Civil Air Patrol/CAP
-
- In case anyone is interested, here are some of the valid Civil Air Patrol
- uniforms (I might have missed some):
-
- Air Force Blues, with CAP insignia and ribbons (must conform to USAF standards)
- OD green fatigues, with CAP insignia (must conform to USAF standards)
- OD BDUs, with CAP insignia (must conform to USAF standards. Note that white
- or beige BDUs are not a CAP uniform)
- Air Force OD green flight suit (must conform to USAF standards....however,
- ....basically that's just neatness)
- Air Force Mess Dress, with CAP insignia and medals (for VERY FORMAL occasions,
- must conform to USAF standards)
- CAP bright blue "Blueberry" flight suit
- CAP blue, green or orange flight suit (the green flight suit is the same as
- USAF and must conform....you know the words)
- A white shirt and grey pants (CAP puts out a couple different white shirts,
- which are preferable, but not required, including a CAP polo shirt.
- For more formal occasions, where a red CAP tie or bowtie or just red
- tie, with a blue jacket).
- Formal wear (excluding the mess dress) is long dress or tuxedo style clothing
