- I don't remember for sure, but I remember reading somewhere about the
- FI unit remmbering it's settings, using latent 12V power from the batt. at
- a REALLY low drain to keep them intact. By removing the fuse link you may
- have caused it to "forget" it's settings. Thereby causing nasty running for
- a while until it could renew and restore them to "normal". An interesting
- test would be to discconnect them again and see if it happens again. I'm
- pretty sure the KE injections have this but I don't know about the A1
- K-type injections. The alternative would just be and unfitted contact pin
- that got contact after a heavy vibration(your quick acceleration...).
