- Speaking as a poor-novice-looking-to-save-money-by-repairing-my-car-myself guy,
- I have a Bentley manual and a Chiltons manual for 1988 Fox. Personally, I use
- the Bentley manualto tell me the specs and the chiltons to find out how to do
- things without the VW tools. I personally have been confused by my Bentley
- manual and have used the chiltons to show me the light. I'm not always
- impressed with the clarity of my Bentley manual nor always impressed with the
- accurateness of the chiltons. However, with the hope of both, I usually get
- something done with a minimal amount of cussing. Just my experience, your
- experience may vary (and probably does!).
