- I would imagine that if you didn't press or pound against the inner race you
- would probably destroy the bearing right away. The same would apply if you
- attempted to press/pound the inner race instead of the outer race when
- inserting the wheel bearing into the wheel housing. Of course I could be
- wrong since I didn't want to try it!
