- HELP.
-
- I have an 86' Z-24 with a 3-speed auto trans. Im having trouble with the lock
- out.
-
- At speed (70-85mph) the lock-out is letting go and the car jerks as the RPM jumps
- up and down. The actual switch is faulty I believe.
-
- Recently, the lock-out hasn't been letting go as I stop from crusing.
-
- With the lock-out releasing sometimes and grasping excessively at others , is it
- a safe assumption that it is actually the L-O switch itself?
-
- If so, where is its exact location? Any help is greatly appreciated. If youve
- had a similar prob - please let me know. Thanks.
