- Yep. It's called most any automatic. The Jag uses a GM TH-400
- last time I checked. Later models have the 4L80, a HD, OD version
- of the regular 400. Also shift kits set to street-strip will overide
- the default upshift.

- Are you sure it is most automatics? Do you mean computer controlled vehicles?
- About leaving it in first, My Neighbor used to own a 69'SS Nova and he
- said his did the same thing. But this was a pre comp. car. What's the
- story? I was under the impression that the car would blow up. If you
- put it in a gear manually then it would essentia.llyu need to be shifted
- to D to make it automatic again.???
