- Of course you can and in a couple of ways after removing the air cleaner.
- As the name implies, a Rochester 2-bbl carb has only 2 "throats" covered by
- one choke plate. A Rochester "Quadrajet" 4-bbl has 4 "throats" covered by
- two separate choke plates - one for the primaries towards the front of the
- car (looking from above) and a second and much larger choke plate for the
- two secondaries (Rochester uses two much larger secondaries while Holley
- barrels are all the same size). Another way - Quadrajet carbs have the
- name "Quadrajet" written somewhere on the throttle body.
