  18. I had the same problems with my '71 Olds et Quadrajet.  I could never
  19. find suitable pieces, and dislike those exhaust heater gizmos.  I
  20. finally bought a new Edelbrock carb with an easy to adjust electric
  21. choke.  Very few problems since.  ( The Quadrajet was a bit old anyway
  22. -- like 115000 miles old. )

  24. This solution cost about as much as a carb rebuild, a new choke, and two
  25. missed appointments/meetings.  Call Summit Racing Equipment...
