- The reason I ask is my preferred mode of transportation is a Vw. I have
- found that keeping the selector in "1" only causes the engine to go to
- redline and then the rev limiter kicks in and thats where she stays. I
- guess what made me try keeping it in "1" on the Jag is the "d" position
- shifts at that low 3500-4000 point. When is Jag going to replace that
- shifter that feels like a tooth-brush handle with something a little
- more meaty?
