- I have a 1991 Toyota Camry with 4-wheel disc brakes. For a couple
- of weeks, the brakes have been squealing on application, but the
- sound goes away when the brakes are reasonably warmed up -- such
- as in stop and go traffic. There seems to be no correlation with
- rain, temperature, etc.
-
- I took it in to the dealer, they cleaned, inspected, etc.
- and said "some sound is normal". The car has 15,000 miles on it,
- and the brake pads are metallic.
-
- Any suggestions?
