- John Woolfe was not that unknown however. He was obviously fairly
- wealthy. Unfortunately all my books have just been moved away so I
- can't look anything up.

- As to the 917s handling - interesting that when both Ford and Porsche
- set out to build a supercar (GT40 and 917 respectively) they both took
- more than a year to get the handling sorted out. And in both cases it
- was actually done by an English group (although with plenty of other
- European and Antipodean input).
