  37. Be careful whether you get the powerglide before 1967 or after.  powerglides
  38. before 1967 had a rear pump so they could be push-started (put the
  39. trans in neutral, coast up to 15 MPH and throw the thing into L, and
  40. it will turn the engine over).  From 1967 on they couldn't be push-started,
  41. because there wasn't a rear pump.  This is REAL important if you're
  42. planning on getting the B&M shift kit or something else to beaf it
  43. up a little, but this is probably left to alt.autos.rod-n-custom.
