  14. I'm currently restoring a 1969 Chevy Impala convertible, and am having
  15. trouble finding the serial number on the transmission.  It is a Turbo
  16. Hydramatic 350, and I want to verify that the numbers match.  It's on
  17. my garage floor, so the search would be easy except for a heavy coat of
  18. grunge.  I'd rather not scrape off any more goo onto the floor than is
  19. necessary.  Can somebody point me in the right direction for the SN of
  20. the beast?
