  12. Since I put up the idea about the FAQ, my mailbox has been deluged with 
  13. people nodding in approbation.

  15. So, without further ado, I will begin the process of compiling it, unless
  16. anyone has some objection to me as FAQ moderator...
  17.  
  18. To that end, I'd like two things:
  19.  
  20.     a) ...for people to send me questions.  These can either be
  21.        questions you have and don't know the answer to, questions
  22.        you have and sort of know the answer to but aren't totally sure,
  23.        or questions you are frequently asked and know the answer 
  24.        to full well and will submit an answer to along with the question.
  25.  
  26.     b) ...for working audio professionals who wish to take part
  27.        in the writing of the FAQ to email me with a list of your
  28.        areas of specialty.  I will then try to direct relevant
  29.        questions your way.

  31. After we have a preliminary draft, I will post it to the group for 
  32. evaluative comments, and hopefully in a few weeks, we'll have the first
  33. draft of an FAQ.
