- Weird. Are we talking about the same thing here? We had Tascam 122's
- at every mixing location at the world's fair here, and not one had a
- problem throuh the entire 4 1/2 month run. This included getting rained
- on, getting baked in one of the hottest summers Vancouver has had, and
- being run by 3 or 4 different operators a day. The Soundcraft 200 mixing
- desks had solder joints going from the heat, but the ascam's worked
- fine.

- This was in '86, and I don't think they even had hx-pro, so
- maybe the quality went down during a design change, but the ones we had
- were built like tanks, and I even know of a few still in daily use in
- clubs that were bought at the wrap auction.
