  15. Somebody on this list was talking about the TDK MA-XG but i didn't
  16. manage to find any, but in my quest i found a store i never went
  17. before and i found:

  19. Sony Metal master 90 mins for $5.50 CDN. These are ceramic composite
  20. casing tapes with different density guides and a very small window.
  21. I have been able to record more than a dB more than a TDK MA-X and
  22. still get a much better sound. These tapes are 14$ to 19$ at other
  23. stores, so i'm not sure what is the deal... (And if you have not
  24. seen them, they are pretty cool: white with grey guides and
  25. removable writetabs, with a letraset lettering sheet with 5 or 6
  26. of each letters, numbers, punctuation...)

  28. They also had DAT tapes for 7$ which is incredibly low, compared to
  29. the near 20$ prices i have seen elsewhere as i have mentionned in a
  30. previous post, and TDK MA-X 90 at $3.75.

  32. Anyway, are there other similar tape like these (ceramic casing and
  33. high quality tape)? And are the sony metal master durable?

  35. Also, i have not tested that, but will it break if it falls on the
  36. ground? I mean, it's ceramic composite... (they are packaged in
  37. 5 packs with foam)
