  15.     I was wondering if there are any other people out there like me
  16. that enjoy repairing and modifying tube based preamps and
  17. amps... I havent touched a project in over a year and thus am kinda
  18. rusty on where to get good components at reasonable (as opposed to
  19. snobbishly overpriced) rates.

  21.     Basically - I need a vendor that stocks a good selection of
  22. quality film caps (polypro, polyester, mylar), high voltage
  23. electrolytics, resistors, tube sockets and good vacuum tubes etc. Some
  24. of these components are hard to find, especially in the +400 V voltage
  25. domain ; most places around here cater to the low-voltage/digital
  26. gearheads.

  28.     I am not looking for the type of component vendors that sell
  29. $90.00 gold-plated binding posts, or $40.00 ceramic tube
  30. sockets - just quality gear, no BS..

  32.     BTW - I am restoring a Leak Stereo 25 and also a Dyna Mark IV
  33. but with the Curcio mods (triode-mode operation).
