  35. One thing I will try is to connect the negative (-) lead of the amp (i.e.
  36. the ground) to somewhere else in the car other than the negative terminal
  37. of the battery.  A suitable place will be any bare metal within the
  38. shortest distance of the amp.  Try not to extend the original length of
  39. the amp's ground wire.
