- This problem with a cold unit skipping is often due to cold CD's, not
- the actual unit. I too have an older Pioneer (a 750) and find that it
- only skips if I really push the car to its limits (sideways over speed
- bumps does it), or play a cold CD. So, make sure you have a CD inside
- to bring with you to play for a few minutes until the interior gets up
- to temperature.

- I've seen this happen with other units as well so I'm not sure if it's
- really any kind of model specific issue.
