  39. This problem with a cold unit skipping is often due to cold CD's, not
  40. the actual unit.  I too have an older Pioneer (a 750) and find that it
  41. only skips if I really push the car to its limits (sideways over speed
  42. bumps does it), or play a cold CD.  So, make sure you have a CD inside
  43. to bring with you to play for a few minutes until the interior gets up
  44. to temperature.

  46. I've seen this happen with other units as well so I'm not sure if it's
  47. really any kind of model specific issue.
