- Here in Texas, it's okay to use deadly force to protect life and
- property. Several months ago, a guy came home to his rural house
- to find bugulars climbing out his windows. Getting out of his truck
- with a rifle, he shot one dead on-the-spot and then proceeded to
- chase 2 or 3 across open-fields. There he shot them down, the last
- one was over 100 yards away from the house. The cops just warned
- him - "Bubba, be careful next time, you coulda tripped on a cow patty."
- i.e. - the country grand jury no-billed him.

- go off, went outside, surprised the thieves, and was shot dead.
