- I don't see how this can be possible. I would have thought that since
- the system was developed by Philips, specifications would be in
- metric, and I can't see how you could manufacture the discs without
- sticking to the specifications. Surely Philips wouldn't allow this?
- What is the point of a new medium if the Unites States decides that it
- is going to continue to live in the dark ages and manufacture discs
- that are incompatible with those of the rest of the world? Again,
- IMHO you explaination doesn't hold water.
