- I would classify it more as a reluctance to post due to the highly
- reactionary and often unintelligent and unrelated flames that are so
- common. I'm not sure that your flame/useful ratio is perhaps not reversed.
- Perhaps within a more supportive environment where more people were
- dedicated to achieving good sound with less yelling, more constructive
- discourse could take place. Actually I'm still in favor of the creation
- of a rec.audio.DIY group, which I think would cater perfectly to the group of
- people interested in achieving good sound through technical knowlege and
- hands on experimentation rather than unlimited bank-books. But that, I
- guess, is a slightly different topic. I did not mean in my previous
- post that we SHOULD create another group, I just meant to say that there
- is a community of people whose needs are not satisfied by the existing
- rec.audio groups (but the world is an imperfect place).
