- He also killed the Klingon renegade who was aiming a disruptor into the
- dilithium chamber ("Heart of Glory"). That was a merciful act, to let
- him die as a warrior instead of in a shameful execution. You might want
- to listen to Worf's speech to his fellow Klingon about duty. Picard
- frowns upon killing if there is any alternative, so Worf's duty as a
- warrior AND security chief is to try to keep any situation from getting
- to the point where killing is necessary.

- I agree that he botched it during the Ferengi takeover, or more accurately,
- the writers botched it. As I pointed out before, they could have written
- it so he took out one or two of them and then another one dropped him.
-
- By the way, several people keep referring to *6* Ferengi capturing the
- ship. We don't know how many Ferengi it took to seize the ship, only
- how many they left on board after they thought they had everything
- secured. They would have needed most of them on the planet to control
- nearly 1000 personnel forced into mining the ore for them. For that matter,
- there could have been more than six on board as a guard, if more than one
- transporter room were utilized for the recapture.
