- A minor ret-con regarding the wondrous aims in the case of Troi's
- hat-shot and Worf's pistol/hand-shot. They seemed a little too con-
- trived to me, until I remembered where this was. This is the HOLO-
- DECK. It's running a program that is dependant upon certain things
- taking place--the good guy getting the drop on the bad guys, the good
- guy having perfect aim, the bad guys not being able to shoot worth
- spit, etc.

- What I'm trying to say is that if they even aimed their guns in the
- right direction, the computer would automatically interpret this as
- a hit. After all, shooting someone's gun from his hand, like
- they did in those old western movies, is actually darn near im-
- possible, so the holodeck pulled a bit of "movie magic" and called
- it a hit.
