  21. I'm not so sure about that. When I watch From STAR WARS to JEDI I always
  22. understand that Lucas is saying that he needed something to tick Luke
  23. off so he had Vader mention Leia. I didn't think that Lucas AT THAT POINT
  24. came up with the idea. The way I understood it was that Leia was already
  25. written in to be the "other" and when it came to the Saber duel, it 
  26. just fit in as a good way to send Luke over the edge.
  27. Personally, I think that the idea was there all along, maybe not in its
  28. entirety but definitely as an image.
