  21. I am not implying that you missed the point about Dracula being a love and
  22. horror story.  Nor am I implying that Dracula is a good romance movie.  Since
  23. I simply do not enjoy watch romance movies as a genre, I cannot criticize the 
  24. story in that aspect.

  26. However, with all that aside, I enjoyed the movie.

  28. On reflection, I agree with you that the plot and the characterization are 
  29. weak.  But, the pretty pictures, all by themselves , somehow, developed an 
  30. atmosphere that drawn me into it as I sat and watched the movie.  I felt that I
  31. was in the same time and space as they were, even thought I was not interested
  32. with the characters on the screen.  And, by been in that universe, 
  33. the story enhanced itself.

  35. Perhap, I did see a different movie than you.  I saw the  movie as
  36. a story composed of images,  and you saw a movie in term of written
  37. plots, spoken dialogues and character interactions.  Different aspect of the
  38. same movie, but I believe equally valid.

  40. I hope this clarifies whatever it is that we are discussing, and maybe we
  41. will just have to agree to disagree.
