  12. I'm not sure if anyone brought this up when Indiana Jones 3 was out but
  13. toward the end when he was at the big void(bottomless pit) and he was   
  14. supposed to step out into thin air not realizing that the bridge made of 
  15. rock was an optical illusion.  This was only an illusion to us because we
  16. are watching this in only two dimensions.  Indiana, being right there at
  17. the foot of the bridge would see the bridge because he is looking at it 
  18. in three dimensions.(Unless he had one eye closed).  On top of that he had
  19. to throw sand? on the bridge so that he could see it.  Anybody would have
  20. seen the bridge because of the difference in depth between it and the rock
  21. wall on the other side.
