- I'm not sure if anyone brought this up when Indiana Jones 3 was out but
- toward the end when he was at the big void(bottomless pit) and he was
- supposed to step out into thin air not realizing that the bridge made of
- rock was an optical illusion. This was only an illusion to us because we
- are watching this in only two dimensions. Indiana, being right there at
- the foot of the bridge would see the bridge because he is looking at it
- in three dimensions.(Unless he had one eye closed). On top of that he had
- to throw sand? on the bridge so that he could see it. Anybody would have
- seen the bridge because of the difference in depth between it and the rock
- wall on the other side.
