  22. As I have mentioned in my previous posting, I omitted "Mermaid Trip" in the
  23. reply to your original question.  Kakinouchi and Hirano worked on this
  24. book together, and just the book itself is worth the money.  The book comes
  25. in such a cute size with a beautiful cover, it's definitely worthwhile.

  27. I think the book in my hand is the 'Comic Novel' you're talking about.
  28. It's basically a Miyu novel, with several illustrations by Kakinouchi.
  29. I remember there are five short stories in the novel, but I can't be sure
  30. right out of the top of my head.  The prologue in the book describes the
  31. last scene in the first manga, so I suppose the stories come after the 
  32. manga.  Oh, yes.  The book is written by Kakinouchi herself.  The book
  33. is rather odd because you read quite a bit about Miyu's human character
  34. (Attending a disguised party with Larva, etc.).  As a bonus, the last
  35. part of the book is a chapter of manga.  I think this is the 'pilot'
  36. installment of Miyu, and I think the book says something about this
  37. chapter was never published before.
