- The barrier's purpose is to prevent someone from time travelling to the
- wrong period on Gallifrey. I don't think it does a lot to stop people
- from scooting around within the correct time period and materialize on
- Gallifrey. In Deadly Assassin, the doctor materializes right smack dab in
- the middle and the TimeLords have no opportunity to stop him.
- If we existed at the same time as Gallifrey and moseyed on over there,
- the barrier wouldn't stop us becasue we would be in the correct time.
