  15. misconception come from, hmmm?  NO, IGOR!  I SAID THE OTHER KNIFE!

  17. the knife to Daddy)...and let's...discuss...the Five Doctors.

  19. Whew!  That does, indeed, seem to be a large inconsistancy, and I'll do
  20. my best to answer it, but I don't know how satisfying the answer will
  21. be.  Bear with my convoluted logic, please, or just press the big "n" if
  22. you are still fearful of little 'ol me.  (maniacal cackling)

  28. I never, in absolutely none of my posts, ever resorted to name calling,
  29. etc. etc. etc.  Sure, I'm opinionated, but NORMAN BATES?  Maybe I just
  30. can't seem to face up to the facts.  I'm tense and nervous, can't relax.

  50. O.K., In The War Games, the Doctor reveals that the Time Lords have not
  51. been able to find him since he left Gallifrey.  Yet, they do find him
  52. (in both his 1st and 2nd incarnations) in the Three Doctors and the Five
  53. Doctors, and *send him on a mission* (some of us have earned these
  54. little priviledges) in The Two Doctors.  How to explain this?
  55.  
  56. Well, aparently after the Doctor was forced to call upon the Time Lords
  57. for help, they could trace him through time both forward and backward in
  58. his history.  In The Three Doctors they are reluctant to tamper with his
  59. past, but do so anyway, thus creating a paradox in the Doctor's history.
  60. Can the Second Doctor in the Five Doctors *really* have the same past as
  61. the one in The War Games?  Not unless the Time Lords have given him (and
  62. Jamie) selective amnesia on 5 occasions.

  64. Anyway, two possible explainations:
  65.  
  66.         1.  The Five Doctors took place after the Three Doctors, when
  67.             2nd Doc met 3rd Doc.  Because Time Lords are telepathic and
  68.             these two are the same Time Lord, there was some ammount of
  69.             "mixing" of memories.
  70.  
  71.         2.  The 6th Doc, in Trial of a Time Lord, recounts a future
  72.             adventure...perhaps Time Lords are sensitive to time and
  73.             paradox in ways we can't understand....or....hmmmm.
