  19. After watching the official version of Shada, I was quite angry that a lot of
  20. stuff was omitted that was in the unofficial (or bootleg) version. So, I
  21. rewatched both to find out how much. To my surprise, there is very little that
  22. wasn't used, mostly small clips. I compared the two versions along with the
  23. script and compiled the results below. The script is available in the US but
  24. it might not be easily found (certainly not from CBS/Fox). A friend asked me
  25. if it was worth the $10 since he had the unofficial version. Well, I still
  26. won't answer that, but I will say that the text in the unofficial version has
  27. much of what is in the script (but not all). I'm glad I bought the script.
  28. The unofficial version is no longer worth keeping.

  30. I only entered scene titles as an aid for the comments. You're dreaming if
  31. you think I might enter the script. Someone said he would enter the script
  32. a long while back. I never found out if he did, but that may be your only
  33. chance. Shell out $10 if you really want it. I considered entering only the
  34. omitted scenes, but there is too much of that too.

  36. Comments are very much welcome. Corrections too. I don't know if anyone will
  37. go to that trouble since it took me quite a long time to compile this. I'm
  38. pretty much sick of Shada for a few months. 8-) If you followup, please don't
  39. quote a gob of text just to ask a simple question (that seems to be the norm
  40. for many people).

  46. Differences between the official/unofficial versions of Shada and the script.
  47.  
  48. Page numbers refer to script. Differences between the script and the official
  49. version are shown in []. Additional material in the unofficial version (not in
  50. the official version) is shown in {} (not including the computer text). Also
  51. included are the times for each of the episodes. The Introduction and linking
  52. narration by Tom Baker are not in the script of course. There are minor
  53. differences throughout the story in which different words or lines are used.
  54. Major differences are pointed out. dbTB="described by Tom Baker". Two things
  55. that are different throughout (and I won't mention below) are Shada and the
  56. Krarg ship are different models.
