  18. I'd have to agree with you that Leela and Ace have little in common.  I
  19. still don't hate Ace though; having little in common with Leela is true
  20. for a lot of companions.  I'm not sure that Leela counts as an alien.  I
  21. know that the Tesh have well and truly departed from the *homo sapiens*
  22. fold, but Leela, while a regressive human, is arguably as human as any
  23. aborigine anywhere.  I mean, the Sevateem were *situationally*
  24. primitive, not *genetically*, witnessed by the fact that Leela married
  25. Andred.  How many Gallifreyans would marry an incurable savage (since
  26. there is little evidence of a Gallifreyan sex drive, the obvious answer
  27. is moot)?
