- #3 is not missing. It is B&W and is not shown as part of the movie version.
- Some places that show episode format MAY show it (I don't know that). Part
- of #4 is edited out to because it follows from #3. Basically, the episode
- revolves around the Doctor's escape from the Daleks. If you'll remember that
- he is captured and then somehow miraculously is out when he runs into Jo.
- I'd have to go back and check for other things, but most of it concerns the
- escape. The Doctor and several Thals go up a shaft using a (LAME) balloon
- concept (some material held by the corners). A Dalek pursues but is destroyed
- when the crew drops a large boulder on it. It's pretty long and drawn out, so
- I don't think much else happens.
-
- I'm also fairly certain that someone said that this episode and #1 of Invasion
- of the Dinos CANNOT be colorized as the others have been because NO color
- copy exists at all. It CAN be colorized, but it would require techniques like
- those used in movies Ted Turner shows on TBS/TNT. I wouldn't care if it did
- look bad. As Skip Caray (a baseball announcer) says "If the color bothers you,
- adjust your set so that the picture is black and white."
