- This is just a silly idea...please no flames about how stupid it is...
- you never know when it comes to marvel...they might have already
- thought of it :) :) :) :)
-
-
- It seems like everyone is wondering "who is Nate/Stryfe/Cable" that no one
- seems to care who the other two baddies are and how they got (and know so
- much about) the technovirus. But fear not, for I can explain it all!
-
- The reason why Apocalypse knows so much about the virus is because he is no
- other than.......MAGUS! Warlock's long lost father!!! When Doug and Warlock
- "reprogrammed" Magus' genes to regress to an enfant state (don't know what
- number of the New Mutants it was), it not only regressed him, but the energy
- involved caused Magus to go through space and time where he ended up in ancient
- Egypt. There he bonded with some Egyptian (in the "Douglocke" fashion). The
- bonding caused him to be stuck to a more human form (no more stellar sizes--
- remember when he tore a star in half just to kill Warlock?) but made the
- human form very malleable. That explains Apocalypse's shape-shifting powers.
- Somewhere in his reprogrammed mind, the reformed Magus remembered that his
- spiecies used "survival of the fittest"...the scion must kill the sire in
- order to survive...added to the remnant, vague, memories of the Mutants who
- bested him (the New Mutants and the X-Men) he thought himself a mutant also
- and begin weeding out the weak mutants. The life-span of Magus' race is
- unknown so it seems likely that he could survive the time between ancient
- Egypt and today.
-
- Remember, when Apocalypse was weak, *energy* was needed to make him stronger.
-
- As he aged closer to our time, Apocalypse begin remembering what he was before.
- He remembered his defeat at the hands of mutants; he knew that he wasn't as
- powerful as before. So he finds Celestial technology in the hopes of augment-
- ing his strenth and later uses other mutants to hunt down those who hurt him
- and all those connected to him (like the orginal X-Factor)
-
- From then you have the rest of his appearances...
-
- So who is Mr. Sinister? why he is obviously Douglocke! In the future,
- Apocalypse takes Doug and Warlock's remains in the hopes of making himself
- more powerful. Apocalypse messes around with the genetic material and
- presto! Mr. Sinister is created. That explains his matalic look and the
- T2 rip-off when his head was blown away.
-
- But why would he be after Cyclops? Well Sinister learns about Stryfe's plan
- to go back in time to kill his 'daddy' Apocalypse. Sinister tries to stop him.
- After all, Sinister must kill Apocalypse in order to continue to live...so he
- goes back in time and tries orcestrate Stryfe's birth. He goes back in time
- and does his mucking around but is forced to hide in defeat. (he has also
- inherited Apacolypse's desire for the strongest mutants to survive..that is why
- he caused the Inferno).
-
- This is all silly like I said before...so I'd better stop before I make myself
- ill... ;) ;) :) :)
-
- Have fun!
