- Suppose we give letter grades for what we thought of specific issues
- and a + or a - for good or bad art. My opinion would be
-
- Unc. X-Men #294 B
- X-Factor #84 B+
- X-Men #14 B
- X-Force #16 A+
- Unc. X-Men #295 B
- X-Factor #85 A
- X-Men #15 C+
- X-Force #17 A+
- Unc. X-Men #296 A
- X-Factor #86 B+
- X-Men #16 B
-
- Average (so far) B+
-
- (Just to put things in perspective:
-
- Excalibur #59 F-
- Excalibur #60 D)

- Stories with a lot of characters are a challenge for writers.
- X-Factor #85, X-Force #17 and Uncanny X-Men #296 were good because they
- focused on (what has turned out to be) the main characters, Bishop,
- Wolverine, Cable, Scott, Jean and Stryfe. The other issues suffered
- because the writers tried to ensure that all the characters took part
- and it seemed forced. I'm amazed that X-Force #16 worked as well as it
- did.
-
- How about that? No *SPOILERS*! :)
