- I have commented here earlier on Disney's genius at making
- money. The guy who invented the cel collection market takes second
- place. Take a drawing from which you can make an infinite number of
- Xerox copies, then get some poor schmuck or schmuckette to paint
- those copies for you at $10.00 an hour (and they paint six cels in that hour
- or lose their jobs) and then turn around and sell it for $350.00.
- Genius.
- Now, if the cel were certified one of a kind and signed by
- Natwick, Disney, Jones, Tissa David, etc., then, maybe.
- But listen, I'm a guy who can't understand why my daughter
- pays big bucks for pieces of fiesta ware
