- You can obtain the Disney Animation book at a discount if you are lucky
- enough. I saw the book originally at a few book stores and thought it
- was way too expensive for me to purchase but then a few months later I
- found it on a special discount rack for a *very* reasonable price. I
- believe I purchased it for something like $25.00 which was a *HUGE*
- savings from the list price. The book itself is huge.
-
- Another very good book on animation is called "The Animation Book" by
- Kit Laybourne published by Crown Publishers out of New York. It begins
- with basic drawing fundementals and goes through different animation
- techniques right on up to lighting and filming. At the end of the book
- is a large resource section which gives books, periodicals,
- organizations, films, distributors, screening centers, festivals,
- training programs, suppliers, laboratories and much more information.
-
- I find it to be a very valuable resource.
