- 1) I agree that this _is_ an incredible book. The book is essentially
- an examination of the Disney animation process, AKA "the 7 principles
- of animation." BTW, John Lasseter wrote a SIGGRAPH paper in 1987
- about how these principles work in the context of computer animation.
-
- 2) This seems to be a widely-referenced book in the computer animation
- community. I think that it has influenced a lot of professionals.
-
- 3) This book seems to be out of print. When I tried to order this through
- Whole Toon a couple of years ago I was told that they were out of copies
- and would put my $30 worth of credit (not a lot of money, IMHO)
- on my account. I haven't seen this book offered in the Whole Toon Catalog
- since, including the most recent one which I received just this past
- week.
-
- 4) Why is this book no longer available? If anyone finds a source of this
- book, please send me email at the below address.
