  21.      There was a Saturday morning Filmation Tom & Jerry show called -
  22.      naturally enough - the "Tom & Jerry Comedy Show."  Unlike the
  23.      Hanna-Barbera TV T&J show of the 70s, the Filmation show did try to
  24.      imitate the style of Tex Avery and Hanna-Barbera (the T&J theatrical
  25.      cartoons), and there were a few interesting gags in there.
  26.      Unfortunately, the abysmal Filmation animation ruined each and every
  27.      episode, through their practice of continually re-using the same
  28.      pieces of animation over and over and over....and over and over...
  29.      and over and over and over again.  As a result, the T&J chase scenes
  30.      were the exact same chase scene - same movements and all - in
  31.      every cartoon, the pitfalls were the same, the gimmicks used (such
  32.      as chasing each other in toy planes) were the same...and so on and
  33.      so on.

  35.      Our locak Fox affiliate in Boston shows the syndicated "Tom & Jerry
  36.      And Friends" cartoon show every day, and this show includes ALL of
  37.      T&J's incarnations.  Viewers of this show are as likely to see a
  38.      classic Hanna-Barbera theatrical short, a Gene Deitch T&J, a
  39.      Chuck Jones T&J, a Hanna-Barvera TV T&J - or a Filmation T&J.
  40.  
  41.      If you want to see the Filmation T&J (you fool you!), see if you
  42.      can find this show on TV.
