- What!?? Not the marketing potential of TLM? First of all, what does
- that have to with anything? Sure, Disney markets everything, but I
- hope that wasn't anyone's concern while making Aladdin. Look at the
- marketability of Snow White or Sleeping Beauty or Bambi...Maybe I'm
- too young, but I don't remember Snow White lunchboxes or bedspreads or
- Bambi pencils and posters flooding any markets around the world..Are
- they any less classics than TLM?
-
- I know, you were just making an observation, separate from your film
- opinion, but I still disagree with Aladdin's marketability. Aladdin
- is a marketing dream, especially for toys aimed at boys! TLM
- was every girls' dream, but how many 5/6 year old boys do you think you'll
- see as Aladdin next Halloween? I can't wait to see what Disney
- creates with Aladdin's likeness plastered all over it, especially the
- figures! Not that I care about marketing though..=-)

- They're more lovable that way...Although if Aladdin and BatB were live
- action, I'd say the Sultan and Maurice would definitely be the same
