- IMHO, this reasoning is faulty. I can see the reasoning behind not removing
- the ammonia to keep a bio-filter healthy, but not removing chlorine or chloramine
- is definitely NOT going to help your bio-filter! In my experience, this is a very
- dangerous practice, and due to fluctuating levels of chlorine, you may eventually
- completely kill your bio-filter. I prefer to remove the chloramine in my tap
- water also, as I do not need to stress my fish any more than necessary.
