- According to Bruce Carlson of the Waikiki aquarium, persoanl communication,
- to induce clams to spawn you inject them with gonad material from a living
- clam of the same species. Sounds kind of expensive to me. Might work for a
- clam farm, but not for hobbyist. Many commercial fish hacheries use this method
- to induce spawning.
